We’re asking for your help to conserve water!

Water Usage (3)

We’re asking for your help to conserve water!

More than half of MN is experiencing extreme drought, and our watershed has now entered the drought restrictive phase. We’re continuing to strictly enforce odd/even watering, and now the MN DNR is asking us to take our water conservation efforts a step further.

The City’s goal is to reduce our water use to about 25% above our January consumption. That means pumping approximately 1.36 MGD (million gallons per day). We’re currently pumping around 3.5-3.75 MGD. We’ll need to cut our water consumption by more than 50% to meet that goal. To learn how you can help, click here.
