Beginning Monday, Nov. 20 through Wednesday, Nov. 22 westbound Broadway will be closed between Pine Street (TH 25) and Walnut. Traffic signal work will be occurring on Broadway Street (CSAH 75) at Pine Street (TH 25). Crews will be replacing the signal standard (pole) at the corner on the northwest quadrant, moving it back from the intersection.

Beginning Monday, Nov. 20 through Wednesday, Nov. 22 westbound Broadway will be closed between Pine Street (TH 25) and Walnut. Traffic signal work will be occurring on Broadway Street (CSAH 75) at Pine Street (TH 25). Crews will be replacing the signal standard (pole) at the corner on the northwest quadrant, moving it back from the intersection.
The closure is part of Monticello's Downtown Roadway & Pedestrian Improvements Project. During the closure, crews will also be filling the medians and sidewalk gaps with gravel for the winter season, with final pavement scheduled for 2024.
Westbound Broadway Street between Pine Street (TH 25) and Walnut Street will be closed to through traffic. A detour route following Pine Street (TH 25) to 4th Street to Locust Street will be posted.
Access to all businesses will be maintained. Eastbound Broadway will not be affected. Walnut Street, River Street, and other adjacent roadways will also remain open.
