MN Fishing Opener & Mother's Day Weekend

Happy Mother's Day weekend AND Minnesota's fishing opener! We've got your fishing licenses at the Monticello DMV!

The DNR also has perks for mom this weekend! Minnesota mothers are allowed to fish without purchasing a license this weekend and win prizes along the way. Moms who share a photo of their catch on the 'Minnesota Moms Fishing Challenge' Facebook page (pictures of all species and sizes of fish are welcome) will be entered in a random drawing to win prizes provided by the Student Anglers Organization. The DMV is open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
