Riverfest 2022: Thursday, July 14 - Sunday, July 17

Thursday, July 14:

• Riverfest Block Party at MCC from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Start your Riverfest celebrations early with a Block Party at the Monticello Community Center! Stop by for a free lunch, complete with a beverage and dessert. The fun happens near the Senior Center entrance to the facility.
• Family Night at Pioneer Park from 5:30-8 p.m.
• Kids activities, food, games, pie eating contest, car show, petting zoo & pony rides, and Canine demonstration

Friday, July 15:

• Community Talent Show & Fireworks Display at the Monticello High School from 7:30 p.m. to dusk

Saturday, July 16: All Day

• 5K, Art in the Park, Bean Bag Tournament, Street Dance with Maiden Dixie

Sunday, July 17: Ellison Park from 12-5 p.m.

• Parade, Coronation, Duck Drop, Chicken Dinner, Concessions, Children's games, and music

Riverfest Shuttle Stops:

The shuttle will operate from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 16; and from 1:45-6 p.m. on Sunday, July 17. The shuttle stops include:

• City Parking Lot, 3rd St W & Walnut St
• Former DMV Parking Lot, 3rd St E & Cedar St
• Monticello Middle School Parking Lot
• East Bridge Park Parking Lot
• Ellison Park – East end of the park by the log shelter
