School Boulevard & Edmonson Avenue Closure

 Beginning Monday, September 25, 2023 School Blvd. will reopen. Edmonson Avenue between School and Farmstead will be closed to allow for continued private utility work. The intersection of Edmonson and Farmstead Drive will be closed as part of the updated detour to allow for utility work in the intersection. The work is anticipated to last 1-2 weeks.

Broadway Street (CSAH 75) Road Closure

The temporary signal at 4th Street and Pine Street (TH 25) is anticipated to be operational tomorrow (Tuesday, September 5) the posted detour will switch to follow Elm Street to 4th Street to Pine Street (TH 25). 

The detour is part of our Downtown Roadway and Pedestrian Improvements Projects and the County's West Broadway Reconstruction Project.

The closure is anticipated to last until late October, but timelines are subject to change during the project. The City of Monticello will be posting updates for the project on our website: https://www.ci.monticello.mn.us/570/3292/Downtown-Roadway-Pedestrian-Improvements
