Advertise With Us

The City of Monticello has advertising space available for local businesses and organizations! Options include banners around the Monticello Community Center's walking track, banners at City-owned sports fields; and still graphics or (silent) video advertising on digital monitor displays.

In 2022 the City of Monticello launched a Digital Monitor Advertising Program, this allows area businesses to advertise their services across the City Campus: throughout the Monticello Community Center, by the entrance of City Hall, inside the DMV building (this building is also the home of the Chamber of Commerce, FiberNet, and MCC's Fitness Classes), and in Hi-Way Liquors.

The monitor program offers more flexibility than most advertising plans. The contract rate includes a 15 second time slot, additional time slots can be purchased if your business would like multiple ads or a longer spot for video/multiple slides, and for a small fee, ads can be switched out at any time, allowing for seasonal promotions as well.

The City is committed to our role as a community partner and started this program as a way to offer an affordable advertising option for local businesses; allowing them to reach and promote their products and services to residents and guests who frequent our public spaces.

ADVERTISING ON THE ELECTRONIC MESSAGE BOARDS

The City of Monticello has two Electronic Message Boards:

  • One located at Hi-Way Liquors on Trunk Highway 25
  • One located at the Fire Station on Chelsea Road

We know the message boards are useful communication tools, so area non-profits can request to have upcoming events displayed. Messages are reserved on a first-come, first served basis for up to two weeks (14 days). Please note: use of the message boards is not guaranteed and city-related events and messages have priority.

Please send this completed form and the event flyer to Monticello’s marketing and communications specialist, Haley Foster, at marketing@ci.monticello.mn.us.
