In 2021, the City of Monticello created of the Parks, Arts, and Recreation Department. This department brings together recreational opportunities and strives to offer additional programs for the public.
This change rates will allow the City to continue offering the most exciting variety of recreational amenities in the area, including:
- Exciting events like Movie in the Park, Music on the Mississippi, and Walk & Roll
- Fitness opportunities for all ages and abilities at the Monticello Community Center
- Public and membership access to MCC's pool, waterslide, and spas for both lap swimming and recreation
- Popular recreational sports leagues such as flag football and pickleball
- A Farmers Market with both indoor and outdoor seasons
- Beautiful public parks and rental facilities for private events

City-Wide Tree Inventory
